– assures sustained government partnership ahead of 2027
In a gathering that radiated purpose, unity, and renewed political consciousness, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Christian Youth Matters, Apostle Barr. S. B. Inyang, delivered a stirring commendation to the Christian Youth, describing them as “the backbone of moral leadership and the heartbeat of transformational engagement” within the youth community of Akwa Ibom State.
He made this powerful declaration while addressing an assembly of Church Youth Leaders during a strategic youth engagement meeting held at The Apostolic Church, 90 Obio Imo Street, Uyo, a venue that has become a cradle for inter-denominational synergy.
Apostle Inyang, visibly inspired by the rising commitment of the youths, placed strong emphasis on the ongoing INEC PVC Sensitization, Mobilization, and Registration drive, stressing that true support for His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, must transcend verbal endorsement.
In his words, “It is not enough to speak; our conviction must translate into action. Our PVC is our voice, our strength, and our responsibility.”
He paid glowing tributes to the Church youth leaders for their unwavering resilience over the years, men and women who have stood firm in loyalty, spiritual maturity, unbroken dedication and unrelenting support to the Governor’s youth-first leadership. As the 2027 electoral horizon draws near, he noted that their consistent sacrifices form the quiet foundation of the Governor’s growing grassroots momentum.
Speaking with the confidence of one who has seen leadership up close, Apostle Inyang declared that Pastor Umo Eno remains a leader he can proudly speak for “anywhere and anytime,” emphasizing that the Governor’s legacy is being built through action, compassion, and integrity, not political theatrics.
“He has proven himself,” the SSA asserted, “not in empty promises but in verifiable deeds that touch real people, in real communities, every single day.”
Reaffirming the government’s unwavering commitment to youth development, he assured the gathering that the partnership between the administration and Christian youths would not only be sustained, but strengthened in scope, impact, and reach.
He lauded the Church Youth Leaders for championing spiritual renewal, community advocacy, and inter-church collaboration, roles he described as “the pillars of a morally grounded society.”
With a charge that resonated deeply, he urged the youth leaders to remain steadfast, deepen their unity, and continue embodying the values of peace, loyalty, discipline, and purposeful engagement that define the ARISE Agenda.
“The future,” he said, “belongs to youths who understand their calling, their influence, and their civic responsibility.”.
