As Christians across the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency, Rep. Okpolupm Etteh, has extended warm Christmas greetings to the people of Akwa Ibom State, with special emphasis on his constituents.

In a goodwill message released to mark the season, Rep. Etteh, Deputy Chairman of the House Committe on University Education, described Christmas as a period of reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to collective progress.

He called on the people to embrace peace, unity, and love as critical values for sustaining development at both the constituency and state levels.

The lawmaker expressed profound appreciation to the people for their unwavering support, trust, and partnership, noting that their confidence has continued to strengthen his resolve to provide purposeful and people-oriented representation at the National Assembly.

According to Rep. Etteh, the season offers an opportunity to renew hope in a better tomorrow and to reinforce the shared responsibility of building a more prosperous and inclusive society.

He reaffirmed his commitment to diligent service, effective legislation, and impactful interventions that will translate into tangible benefits for the people of Eket, ONNA, Esit Eket, and Ibeno.

The federal lawmaker concluded by wishing all Akwa Ibom people a peaceful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year, assuring them of his sustained dedication to advancing their collective aspirations through responsive leadership and accountable governance.
