NNPC BOARD: ETTEH HAILS TINUBU OVER EUNICE’S APPOINTMENT

The Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, has lauded President Bola Tinubu on the appointment of Mrs. Eunice Thomas as a Non-Executive Director of the Board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in compliance with Section 59 (2) of the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021.

 

 

In an official statement, Hon. Etteh, who is the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on University Education, said Mrs. Thomas’ “exceptional skills, education, and seven years of meritorious service as a Member of the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council have been recognized and rewarded.”

 

 

“Your appointment to the NNPC Board is a testament to your outstanding contributions to the development of Akwa Ibom State and your commitment to the welfare of women. Your expertise and experience will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the future of Nigeria’s energy sector and contributing to the overall growth and development of our nation,” the stressed.

 

 

While congratulating Mrs. Thomas, one of his constituents, Hon. Etteh expressed optimism that her unwavering commitment to excellence will surely make a lasting impact in her new role.
