A State High Court in Nembe, Bayelsa State, on Wednesday ordered the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, to appear before it within 42 days in connection with a N649 million accommodation debt suit. Governor Umo Eno has promised to empower fifty farmers in the state with the sum of five hundred thousand naira (N500,000 ) each as a way of incentivising farming in the state.
