…announces support and asks others not to hold back help.

The joy of Mr. Ekpono-Abasi Humphrey knew no bounds, as his wife, Rachael, was safely delivered of four beautiful babies at first childbirth by medical personnel of the Ibom Specialty Hospital in Uyo.

Leading a group of women and jubilant mothers under the aegis of Unique Ladies to celebrate the new mother and welcome her four lovely sons, Mrs. Esitmbom Ekperikpe Ekpo, wife of the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Gas), broke into singing and dancing while thanking God for safe delivery.

“Count it all joy, that God in His wisdom decided to do it this way. One, two, three, four… and all four are alive and well. Do not lose heart. The Lord is your strength. He who started this good work is faithful and just to establish it,” Mrs. Ekpo encouraged the new parents.

Mrs. Ekpo announced that after she shared the news of the quadruple birth with her husband, Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo KSJ, he decided to support the Humphreys with funds to offset outstanding medical bills and other needs.

She prayed for safe delivery for every expectant mother and declared that their expectations would never be cut short. She also called on men and women of goodwill, who feel persuaded to reach out to the new parents not to hesitate to do so.
