EDIRICH: Exposing the Secret Behind Akwa Ibom HAPPY HOUR Tour
Most people first heard the phrase “Happy Hour” in March 2023 when Pastor Umo Eno, then the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Akwa Ibom, casually mentioned it during a live social media video.
With a vision to harness “Happy Hour” as a force for good, Pastor Eno promised to use it to promote responsible revelry and, most importantly, empower small-scale businesses like never before.
Today, Happy Hour has become a popular anthem in the State whenever people want to talk about enjoyment. But do you know the real story behind HAPPY HOUR Tour with EDIRICH?

It’s worth emphasizing that Governor Umo Eno’s original vision for Happy Hour was more than just a party; it was a call to action. He wanted to bring people together, support small businesses, and promote responsible relaxation.
Consequently, Comrade Edidiong Richard, popularly known as EDIRICH, a proud son of the State, Security Consultant, and CEO of Pax Squad Event Control, has taken the concept of Happy Hour to the next level, infusing it with a new purpose.
Behind the scenes, EDIRICH has been working tirelessly to create a movement that celebrates joy and inspires positive change. What’s his secret sauce? The honest answer is that EDIRICH, a seasoned events manager with over 10 years of experience, sees the Governor’s Happy Hour as a clarion call to empower Akwa Ibomites, promote hard work and responsibility, and shun vices and violence. He has already achieved tremendous success at the inaugural event held at Davita Hotel, Nsikak Eduok Avenue, Uyo last month.
Therefore, at the forthcoming Happy Hour Tour with EDIRICH, Eket Edition, on Wednesday, April 24th, EDIRICH will donate free fuel, garri, and other staple foods to the good people of Eket to cushion the effect of harsh economic conditions.
In the evening, Happy Hour Party will hold at BOOVERI HOTEL, Eket, with the celebration of Governor Umo Eno’s birthday as the major @highlight of the day.
Additionally, an array of motivational speakers will share powerful messages on the importance of shunning cultism, violence, and vices, while embracing hard work, responsibility, and the pursuit of greatness.
