While reaffirming his dedication to supporting the most at-risk members of the community, he further purchased 200 Life Premiums from the Akwa Ibom Health Insurance Scheme for vulnerable individuals from ONNA.

The three days event was officially flagged off on Wednesday at the Awa General Hospital by the Transition Committee Chairman of ONNA Local Government Council, Elder IniAbasi Ekanem.

It is part of Hon. Etteh’s continued efforts to improve healthcare in his constituency and it included general consultations, health sensitization, and specialized gynaecological care. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, citing relief from long-standing health issues.

Hon. Etteh, who has been at the forefront of human capital and community development, emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare for his constituents, reaffirming his commitment to providing continuous support to improve their well-being.

Speaking during the flag-off, Elder Ekanem, who thanked the sponsor of the programme, said the free medical outreach was part of Etteh’s commitment to improving the healthcare delivery and well-being of the people of the federal constituency by ensuring that quality medical care reaches the grassroots.
