A young male stylist identified as Ekere, who was said to operate at Urua Ekpa in Akwa Ibom State, has reportedly been stabbed to déâth by two young ladies.
The suspects, identified as Blessing Johnson from Biase in Cross River State and Mary Emmanuel from Ekim Itam in Akwa Ibom State, were allegedly involved in the incident, which is said to have occurred on Monday night.
Videos circulating online and captured by NewsNectarNG show residents apprehending both suspects and questioning them about their alleged roles in the déááth of the young stylist. In one of the videos, Mary, one of the primary suspects, claimed she did not stab Ekere, insisting instead that he fell on the knife that killed him.
When this reporter contacted the Akwa Ibom State Police Command, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Timfon John, confirmed the development, stating:
“The incident has been reported to the police. The suspects have been taken into custody, and investigation is currently ongoing.”
