PDP: IBENO ELECTS NATIONAL DELEGATE, CHAPTER EXECUTIVES

Stakeholders and elders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibeno Local Government Area, through a congress held on Saturday, August 10, elected Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, the Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit-Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, along with 18 others, as the National Delegate and members of the Chapter Executive to manage the party’s affairs.

While Hon. Etteh, along with other elected national delegates, will be part of those electing a substantive National Chairman of the party this August, Mr. Uko Ikoabasi Uko was elected as the Chapter Chairman of Ibeno Local Government Area.

 

The Chapter Executive also includes Samuel Sunday Ichulo (Deputy Chairman), Maxwell Solomon Mbiam (Secretary), Asuquo Okon Asuquo (Assistant Secretary), Melford Asuquo (Publicity Secretary), Victor Edikpo (Assistant Publicity Secretary), Jacob Akpan Ekah (Organizing Secretary), Princess Regina Essiet (Women Leader), and David Samuel Odiongito (Financial Secretary).

Other elected officials include Ekaette Okon Effiong (Treasurer), Friday Ebong John (Youth Leader), Ruth Ekot Akpakip (Legal Adviser), Helen Okokon Nathaniel (Auditor), Kenneth Macauley Ebong (Ex-Officio I), Nta Ibo Jonah (Ex-Officio II), Godwin William Usen (Ex-Officio III), Ben Solomon Ette (Ex-Officio IV), and Douglas Inyang Noah (Ex-Officio V).

 

The Congress, chaired by Chief Isaac Abakam and Chief Friday Ebong as Committee Chairman and Secretary, was overseen by Mr. Nkuseyine Augustus Amos (Returning Officer) and Mr. Mick Eyo (Collation Officer).

 

The event was attended by Hon. Emma Ibok, Chairman of Ibeno Transition Committee, the PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Mrs. Glory Ekah Effiong, and other notable figures.
