Savannah Energy Technical Audit: A False Report to Akwa Ibom State EXCO

Investigation has revealed that the Interim Report on Ibom Power Company Limited by Savannah Energy Ltd was false from a figment of imagination of an Author.
Recalled the Managing Director of Savannah Energy Limited presented an interim Technical Audit report highlighting critical internal and external issues hampering the progress of the company as was discussed during the meeting of the State Executive Council of Akwa Ibom State Government held on 3rd April, 2024.
Findings revealed that the team of Emerson Automation Solution who were contracted by Savannah Energy to carry out site survey and scoping work for two or three days which was to commence on Monday 4th March, 2024 has not visited Ibom Power Plant Company to do anything despite the series of reminder on them.
The competency, integrity and sincerity of Savannah Energy on their source of report presented remain questionable as technical evaluation of Ibom Power Plant cannot be done by assumption without the team being granted full access to carry out the assignment.
Worried by the alleged process of hijacking of many companies in Akwa Ibom State like UNIVERSAL ENERGY,MOBIL ,SYRINGE by the Western Region Plot aim at highjacking Akwa Ibom Investment to frustrate Gov Umo Eno’s good initiative by some few greedy disgruntled elements in the corridor of power.
Speaking, during the investigative move to uncover the motive behind the company and the key plotters to plant Savannah Energy on the hatched job, A front line activist who did not want her name on print pending on the full recovery of the investigation was forced to asked – How long Akwa Ibomites shall continue to be betrayed by those who even allow “Champ Malta” from Champion Breweries to enter Lagos nor allow “Ibom Deep Sea Port” to see the Light of the day and who was the last GM of Syringe at Onna? Whom the MD of Anchor Insurance was and How many Akwa Ibomites work there?
According to her, “Why can’t Savannah Energy take over the following THERMAL POWER STATIONS in the WEST, Egbin, 1320MW Lagos, Papalanto, Ogun and Omotosho, Ondo, why Ibom Power? Is Mr. Pace Olutoye of Savannah an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or Miss, Nkoyo who”s a CLO in Accugas now a Power Engr? I called on Akwa Ibom State Government not to be mislead”, She said.
