…PLANS EARLY MEETING WITH NEW INEC CHAIRMAN

Credible intelligence have emerged that Akwa Ibom State will witness one of the fiercest elections in 2027 as the political clouds are already gathering with early high level scheming and plots in the two major political parties.
With the defection of Governor Umo Eno into the All Progressives Congress APC, the stage appears to have been set for what will be a guerilla war in the many camps that exist in the APC even as many Politicians are eyeing the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as “Plan B” should they not make the list of those favoured by the Senate President, Chief Godswill Akpabio to emerge victorious in the 2027 polls.
One of the members of the 3-man Political scheming cabal who has always spoken to the Guide Newspaper on conditions of strict anonymity revealed to our Publisher that 2027 will be the year which the Senate President will install all the men who will in turn install the successor of Governor Umo Eno in 2031.
The inner cabal member of Akpabio political scheming circle said “Emma, I can tell in strict confidence that we will not leave the succession in 2031 to chance. The reason we call our boss “Akpan Annang is that he knows what will be at stake in 2031 and already he had instructed us immediately Umo Eno defected into APC that we must start the plans on identifying the loyalists who we feel will not betray us in producing the man that will succeed Umo Eno even against his will because that man you people have as Governor has shown us signs that he is not someone who can be trusted. Sorry to say this, but then you have been my brother for years and we have always confided in ourselves, I can tell you this authoritatively that we will not allow the Ibibios to produce an Annang Governor for us. Never!
So for now, what we have advised our Leader and boss, the Senate President to propose to Umo Eno is that for the House of Assembly, we can share the seats equally with the Number 3 man taking 13, and Umo Eno taking 13, for the House of Representatives, our Leader will take 5 seats while Umo Eno takes 5 and for the Senate seats, our leader will take one while Umo Eno takes One. But on that Senate seats, we will prefer to take Eket Senatorial District since we want to decimate your former boss, Udom Emmanuel completely. We need to have our loyalist in Eket Senatorial District. I hear that Umo Eno is priming up Nsima Ekere to replace Ekong Sampson. You people better advise Nsima Ekere not to come and disgrace himself because the defeat will be massive. We are still looking at Victor Antai but let us see how it goes. The good thing for Victor Antai is that Eka Esit mbom- the wife of the Senate President, Her Excellency Ekaette Unoma is comfortable with Antai. But let’s see how it goes” Our impeccable source revealed.
Regarding the seats in the House of Representatives which the Senate President, Chief Akpabio might be interested in producing, our source listed them to include: Ikot Ekpene/ Essien Udim/Obot Akara, Ikono/Ini, Oruk Anam/Ukanafun, Abak/Etim Ekpo Ika, and Oron/Mbo/Udung Uko/Uruefong Oruku Federal Constituencies.
Explaining further our source said, in keeping with the Senate President’s desire to tighten the grip he has on Ikot Ekpene Senatorial district, Chief Akpabio will not concede any of the seats in the House of Representatives to anyone who he is not sure will be loyal to stay away from the Governorship contest in 2031 if advised to do so.
Continuing our top source revealed: “Given the condition we are using which is to bring anyone who will listen to our leader if he instructs such a person not to contest, we cannot have Unyime Idem and Emmanuel Ukpong-udo whom we are sure are already eyeing the seat of the Governor in 2031. So in Ikono/Ini we have a young man who has been loyal to Oga since his days as Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, and he will be unveiled soon. In Ukanafun Oruk Anam, we may likely settle for Hon. Aniekan Abraham – Anisolo who is somehow loyal to Oga and likely to have Madam’s endorsement. In Essien Udim/Ikot Ekpene, our lot seems to have settled on Uduak Udoh who is fiercely loyal and we may allow him to be Madam’s slot as a reward to Eka Esit Mbom. So he is like to replace Patrick Umo. In Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika we have penciled down a core loyalist whose name I will not mention as we just met with him last Monday to discuss and gauge his loyalty to the game. In Oron Federal Constituency, we are likely to go for Hon Asukwo Archibong whom you know as Posion. Already, Oga will meet the New INEC Chairman immediately and of course you saw Oga’s support to him during the screening.”
For the thirteen seats which will be handed over to Chief Akpabio to produce, our source said apart from the ones in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, the Senate President is also particular about the ones in Itu State Constituency as he has a long time loyalist from there that he has already promised the seat.
Meanwhile, the Guide Newspaper also gathered from those close to Umo Eno that the Governor is not also sleeping as he is already spreading his tentacles across Akwa Ibom to ensure that even if Akpabio wins election to return to the Senate in 2027, that he will not clinch the Senate Seat as the Governor has foreseen that this will stand in the way of Umo Eno producing a successor in 2031.
Already, Umo Eno is reportedly billed to meet with Wike, Adams Oshiomole and other northerners as they perfect the plan to see how to ensure that the Senate President Seat is not taken by Chief Akpabio should he win the election in 2027.
