…accuses Eno of neglecting his root
A socio cultural group in Akwa Ibom State, Ibibio Vanguard, has called on Governor Umo Eno, to as a matter of urgency, convene Ibibio Submit to help the Governor interface with his people as a true son of Ibibio land.
Speaking in a press release signed by the chairman and secretary of Ibibio Vanguard Otuekong Bassey Inwang and Francis Udoh Esq, the group accused Governor Eno of failing to identify with Ibibio since his inauguration as the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
Ibibio Vanguard recalled that Governor Eno, in many occasions, has been sending his aide to represent him at events that demand his presence as a true Ibibio son, threatening that if Governor Eno fails to call for Ibibio Submit soon to chart a new course for the third largest ethnic group in the country, Ibibio people would deny when he needs them most.
The group further called on the governor collaborate with Oku Ibom Ibibio Ntenyin Solomon Etuk and plan for a special submit for Ibibio nation.
Ibibio Vanguard challenged Governor Umo Eno to learn from Chief Godswill Akpabio who has done everything possible to work with his Annang ethnic group to foster the unity and progress of Annang people.
