A non governmental organisation, Ubong King Foundation is holding a mind-transformative event known as Thinkation 2026 (Thinking Education) in Akwa Ibom State in January 2026
The event which has as its theme “Reinvent the Future” according to the organisers will hold on Saturday 31st January, 2026, at Flairmore Event Centre, 98 General Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State by 9am.
According to the organisers, Ubong King Foundation started in 2018 with the vision of advancing youth empowerment by building creative mindsets in the youths. The organisers stressed that though the event is not meant to share money to the people who would attend, it would create a platform where people with proven records of success will speak to the youths and guide them on the path to make it in life.
“We will bring people with proven track records of success to raise young people who do not look at government house to succeed.”
The event will also provide an opportunity for the foundation to showcase the rich cultural and tourism potentials of Akwa Ibom State.
Key speakers at the event are, Ini Abmbola, Dr. Imo Imo Ita, Iniobong Udoh, Moses Arthur, Nseabasi Valentine, Amarachi Ugoli, Blessing Akpan among others.
