The Akwa Ibom State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Prince Ikim, has called for unity, discipline, and coordinated mobilisation among support groups, stressing the need for sustained advocacy in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda and ongoing national reforms.

Prince Ikim stated this on Friday while receiving members of the Tinubu Torchbearers who paid a courtesy visit to the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Campaign Headquarters along Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo.

The delegation, led by the State Coordinator of the Tinubu Torchbearers, Mrs. Inyene Bassey, comprised members of the group’s leadership structure.

Ikim commended the delegation for their commitment to grassroots mobilisation and for promoting the vision and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that such engagements play a critical role in strengthening public understanding of government policies and reforms.

According to him, Nigeria is currently undergoing significant transformation under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with bold and strategic reforms aimed at stabilising the economy, strengthening institutions, creating opportunities for citizens, and laying the foundation for long-term prosperity.

He further acknowledged the role of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, for her advocacy in empowering women and promoting inclusive participation in governance and national development.

He also praised the leadership of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, for what he described as impactful governance through the ARISE Agenda, which has enhanced infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and social welfare across the state.

Ikim emphasised that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors operate on a principle of unity and coordinated communication, stating:

“My distinguished local government coordinators, it is with great pleasure that I welcome the leaders and members of the Tinubu Torchbearers on this courtesy visit. Your presence here today is a demonstration of your unwavering commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and your dedication to advancing the ideals of good governance, national unity, and grassroots mobilisation.

“I commend your efforts in promoting the vision and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. At a time when our nation is undergoing critical reforms, organisations such as yours play an important role in enlightening citizens, strengthening public engagement, and sustaining support for national development policies.

“Today, Nigeria is on the path of transformation under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Bold and strategic reforms are being implemented to stabilise the economy, strengthen institutions, create opportunities for citizens, and lay the foundation for long-term prosperity. While every reform process comes with challenges, the Renewed Hope Agenda remains a clear roadmap for rebuilding confidence, promoting inclusive growth, and securing a better future for Nigerians. We commend the President for his courage, resilience, and commitment to nation-building.

“I also wish to acknowledge the outstanding role of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON. Through her advocacy and leadership, she has continued to mobilise and empower women across the country, encouraging greater participation in governance, economic development, and community advancement. Her contributions have further strengthened the Renewed Hope vision and inspired many Nigerians.

“At the state level, we are proud of the purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD, Governor of Akwa Ibom State. Through the ARISE Agenda, Akwa Ibom State continues to witness remarkable progress across critical sectors. The administration’s commitment to people-centred governance, infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and social welfare has renewed confidence among our people and demonstrated the value of visionary leadership.

“As Renewed Hope Ambassadors, we are guided by a clear principle of one party, one message, one mobilisation framework. This principle reflects our commitment to unity, discipline, and strategic engagement. It ensures that we speak with one voice, communicate government policies effectively, and mobilise support across our communities in a coordinated and responsible manner.

“I therefore encourage members of the Tinubu Torchbearers to remain steadfast ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda. Continue to engage our people with facts, civility, and patriotism. Let your conduct reflect the values of responsible leadership, respect, and constructive dialogue. As representatives of this movement, your mission is not only to mobilise support but also to inspire confidence, promote understanding, and foster unity among our people.

“Together, through collective efforts, responsible citizenship, and unwavering support for government progress, we can build a stronger, more prosperous, and more inclusive Nigeria for present and future generations.

“I thank you for this visit and for your continued dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda. God bless the Tinubu Torchbearers (TTB), God bless the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, God bless Akwa Ibom State, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Earlier, the State Coordinator of Tinubu Torchbearers, Mrs. Inyene Bassey, said the group was formed to mobilise support for President Tinubu, Senate President Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno, and other APC candidates, while promoting the policies and achievements of the current administration ahead of 2027.

She described the visit as a step toward strengthening collaboration with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and reaffirming the group’s commitment to projecting the vision of the Tinubu administration.

Also speaking, the State Woman Leader and Director-General of Tinubu Torchbearers, Obongawan Obonodo Uko, underscored the pivotal role of women in grassroots mobilisation and voter education, pledging wider outreach programmes across communities to ensure citizens are properly informed about APC’s achievements.

She commended Obong Prince Ikim for his accessibility, dedication, and leadership, noting that his contributions have continued to strengthen the Renewed Hope movement in the state.

The delegation lauded Obong Ikim as a dependable ally in advancing the Renewed Hope message and consolidating support for APC at the grassroots.
