Stakeholders within the political space of Akwa Ibom State, have described the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno as a big disappointment to the entire state.

This was made known who The Guide conducted vox pop to establish the feelings of Akwa Ibom leaders concerning the administration of Pastor Umo Eno.

Some stakeholders who did not want their names mentioned for fear of being victimized, said that Akwa Ibom people received Governor Eno with much hope and expectations because of how he initially presented him, but added that as soon as the Governor defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, he lost his milk of human kindness, by bringing out his true character.

One of them who simply gave his name as Elder Edidiong, said he dislikes the Governor’s leadership style, adding that before Pastor Umo Eno assumed power, he presented himself as the Messiah but today, he behaves as a tyrant.

“From available reports from his appointees, the Governor does not take advice and if you try to do so, becomes angry and acts as if he is all-knowing”.

Another stakeholder who did not want his name on print, described Akwa Ibom as a shadow of its original self. He said, despite huge amount of revenue from the Federal Government, major roads in the capital city are in deplorable states.

He said roads like Abak road, Oron road, IBB way, two lanes and many other roads need thorough overhaul, yet the Governor is busy building trivial things in the name of boosting tourism.

He added that the Governor, like a little child, seems to be constantly happy in seeing huge state funds stored in the banks yet without utilising the fund to spearhead performance in all sectors.

The stakeholders wondered how the Governor feels any time he turns around to see Akwa Ibom people still in the state of how they were before the Governor assumed power.

“Though I am told the Governor does not take advice, but let me make it clear that, Akwa Ibom people are totally disappointed in him. Umo Eno has become a tyrant within his few years in office. We want him to touch lives, not audio lives and what he feels is good for the people.” The stakeholders said.
