… His “loyalty” is questionable – CUFC

By the Guide Newspaper

A socio-political group in Akwa Ibom State, Consciences of Uyo Federal Constituency, (CUFC) has warned Governor Umo Eno to keep Hon. Aniekan Uko at arm’s length following his decision to withdraw from the upcoming APC primary contest in the state.

The group was reacting to the recent press statement made by Hon. Aniekan Uko announcing his withdrawal from the upcoming APC primary election for Uyo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Consciences of Uyo Federal Constituency, in a press released jointly signed by the Coordinator, Mr. Nsikan Udob and Secretary, Clement Usen, noted that Aniekan Uko demonstrated an act of disloyalty to Governor Eno by ignoring the Governor’s advice, resigning from his position as Senior Special Adviser to the governor to pursue his political ambition despite the governor’s directive.

Consciences of Uyo Federal Constituency, stated that Aniekan Uko never consulted his political supporters before taking the decision to suspend his ambition after sensing his eminent defeat in the upcoming APC primary election.

The group advised Governor Umo Eno to keep Hon. Aniekan Uko at arm’s length stating that his recent press statement is aimed at getting sympathy from the governor perhaps for consideration for another political appointment.
